after hole was cut for new sliding glass door, found the mud sill below old door was termite riddled

had to take up  deck boards to gain access to damaged sill

old cement slab stoop landing that deck was built over needed to be removed

once the damaged sill was cut out the floor joists, still in good shape, were exposed

temporary support in preparation for installation of new double 2x10 pressure treated sill

first 2x10 in place

next stage in project.  creation of pass through between kitchen and dining room

removal of plaster from dining room wall to install header and rough framing for pass through.  blue tape shows roughly where pass through will exist when done


 sink side base cabinets carcass installed counter tops measured for and ordered, enlarged but re-used cupboards installed, new drywall primed courtesy of client
